The Crafts with Hair Club Live

The one-off #OpenChairNight took place at Central St Martins in London, as part on an event titled ‘The Crafts’. Less noisy than Hair Club Live’s usual venue, the aim was to build awareness of HCL for more than 700 visitors. A calm affair, The Crafts event aims to appreciate all forms of craftsmanship, and encourage people to view hairdressing as an art form.

Shelley’s look was inspired by a vintage rose garden. She created a tower of  braids and flowers, combining different textures using Kapello hair extensions. The models hair was coloured using milk_shake creative Reds, with a mix of direct colour cocktails. Our models porcelain skin suited the english rose theme perfectly. MUA Jessica Verity decided to keep make up dewy and subtle.

The Crafts was an incredibly unique event. A live gallery of creative professionals, from fine artist and sculptors, to Origami experts and hair stylists. Thank Hair Club Live – we had a blast!
